This was great.
My sister recently got engaged to this great guy Robert (congratulations) and she asked me to take their pictures in Garden of the Gods. We have such a great God who pours out His love on us through relationships (that shadow our relationship with Him) and through the beauty of his creation. This was great.

I want to capture people in their natural element. As I was thinking about how to do this better, I thought of Nick. The guy loves climbing and he's got skills! I hope these photos show you who he really is; not because of what he's doing, but because of how he's doing it.
It was so fun to take pictures of Zach to celebrate him graduating from college. I've seen this guy grow up in the time that I've known him and I'm so proud of the joyful, fun, Jesus-loving man that he's become. I think this shoot really captured who Zach is and why everyone loves him.
I had the great honor of getting to be a part of two great friends' beautiful engagement. The night was perfect and I'm so thankful that I got to be a small part of it. Cameron, Shanni, I love you and I praise God that he brought the two of you together. Enjoy your engagement as you prepare for a lifelong marriage.
Yesterday I had the joy of taking out local Greeley superstar, and personal friend,
Paul Beveridge out for some photos. What can I say? We laughed, we cried, we danced...overall it was a pretty magical afternoon. We're so thankful that some more friends have joined us to participate in the work we've been doing. We wanted to take them to see some of the older parts of the city that we find so beautiful. With that said, here are new photos of our old town. A little while ago we visited the older part of our storied city. These photos were some of the most fun to take and they were such a joy to edit. I know as you go through these you'll see some of brilliant life that draws Ali and I to this place. Yesterday as we were walking to the store I couldn't help but recognize the beauty around me. So, upon getting home, I grabbed my camera and went back outside in an effort to capture some of the wonder that awaited me. A couple of weeks ago my friends and I got the chance to celebrate a very near and dear holiday to the local population; mother language day. It was a beautiful day, remembering all those who lost their lives for the sake of protecting not only their language, but also their freedom. After only a couple weeks in the densely populated city in the world, my comrades and I headed out to a village where the body was at work. There is nothing more precious than seeing people who want to learn from The Son take his commands and put them into practice. Truly the Kingdom of our Father is like a mustard seed; although small in the beginning, it has the potential for amazing growth. |
